~~Have you ever tried to get wax from a candle stub out of a glass votive?
You probably used a knife or spoon and may even have cut yourself in the process....
Well here's a quick tip....
Place the glass votive in the freezer for about an hour, and when you remove it tap it lightly upside down on a hard surface or counter...
....the remains of the candle will drop out very nicely...then just wash with hot soapy water and dry with paper towel to remove any residue of wax...
Works like a charm!

~~To make a pillar candle last longer, hug it!!  By this I mean to cup your hands around the top ( just after you blow it out and it's warm & pliable) and kind of hug the warm wax closer to the wick...this helps to make it last longer.

~~When you spill some candle wax onto a carpet or upholstery, apply a clean white piece of terry cloth to the area and use a hot iron to melt the wax and draw it into the terry cloth....but be very careful as this is hot and may burn you or the material...so watch yourself!!
